The Harris County Democratic Party Summer Internship Program gives participants hands-on experience in political organizing, communications, law, voter protection, community outreach, and Party operations. This is a 9-week program designed to develop the next generation of civic and political leaders in Harris County and across Texas.

Interns are placed in one of five specialized tracks and work directly alongside HCDP staff on active projects. You will leave this program with real skills, real work products, and a robust network.

This internship is open to rising high school juniors and seniors, recent high school graduates, undergraduate students, and graduate students of all majors. No prior political experience is required.
