March 8, 2018: Let’s Keep it Going!

Our primary results were incredible! We tripled the results from the 2014 Harris County Primary and out voted the republicans this year. You and your dedication were integral in the success of the Democratic turnout.

THANK YOU for putting yourself out there and getting engaged in the electoral process. It was an awesome night for democrats!

(Associated Press)

Over the last two months we were able to call 85,000 voters and text 150,000 people because you took the time and helped us reach out to other democrats in the county.

This primary was awesome and we will continue our weekly phone banks on Tuesdays to encourage Democrats to vote in the run-off.

All the work we are doing is to be prepared for the general election which is 242 days until the real fight!

We’ve been very active at the Harris County Democratic Party and we’re not stopping! Here are some dates we want you to save:

March 24th - Senate District Conventions - Click here to find and sign up for your Senate District Convention.

April 7th - Crawfish Boil - It’s crawfish season democrats and we are excited to host our very first boil. Join us as we have a great time with like minded people. Bring your family, friends and neighbors.

May 22nd - Run-off Election - Primary season isn’t quite over yet as we have some exciting races going into a runoff. Don’t forget to vote and get those around you registered and activated!

Texas is the second largest state in the county with Harris County being the largest county in the entire state of Texas. There are an estimated 4 million people in the county, but only around 2.4 million of those people are registered voters. If those 2.4 million voters vote Democrat in the 2018 election, we will turn Texas blue.

Texas is not going to turn blue on it’s own. “It All Starts Here” in Harris County! We have a responsibility to stand up to hatred, racism, and all the fundamentally wrong values of the Republican Party. Stand up to Texas Republicans and fight to make lives better today by becoming a Harris County Democratic Party volunteer! There are so many ways to get involved. Complete a Volunteer Interest Form and find out what way works for you best. We’ll be in touch.
