Mail-In Ballot Drop-Off Locations Remain Limited After Court Grants Emergency Stay
The U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on Saturday granted a request by Attorney General Ken Paxton to temporarily halt a federal judge’s ruling that said Texas counties could have more than one mail-in drop-off location. Paxton filed the request less than 24 hours after a U.S. District judge ruled that additional locations could open.
NRG will remain the only drop-off location in Harris County while the court considers Paxton’s request to officially halt the opening of multiple drop-off locations for mail-in ballots. For NRG drop off hours, visit the Voting By Mail section of www.harrisvotes.com/VotingInfo.
