Early Voting Starts October 22!

Remember, in Harris County you can vote at any Early Voting location between Monday, October 22 - Friday, November 2Early voting is very convenient because you can vote near your work, your favorite grocery store, or after dropping off the kiddos instead of only being able to vote at your polling place on Election Day.

This is the last chance you have to vote! In some cases, polling locations may change up until Election Day, so make sure to check before you go vote. Polling locations in Harris County are open from 7 AM - 7 PM on Election Day, November 6.

If you or anyone you know needs a ride to go cast their ballot in person or would like to volunteer to give voters a ride to the polls, please fill out the form below. Vote By Mail

Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (Received, not Postmarked) is Friday, October 26, 2018

You may vote early by mail if you are registered to vote in Harris County and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Out of Harris County on Election Day and during the early voting period

  • Disabled

  • 65 years of age or older on Election Day

  • Confined in jail, but eligible to vote

Print your application at home, fill it out, sign it, and mail it in to the following address:

ID Requirements For Texas Voters

If you have one of the following acceptable photo IDS, you must bring it with you when you vote:

  • Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)

  • Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS

  • Texas personal identification card issued by DPS

  • Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS

  • United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph

  • United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph

  • United States passport
